NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top media companies are up at 1 p.m.:

Comcast Corp. rose $.03 or .1 percent, to $38.45.

Walt Disney Co. rose $.12 or .2 percent, to $50.90.

Gannett rose $.18 or 1.0 percent, to $18.95.

New York Times Co. rose $.04 or .5 percent, to $8.68.

News Corp. rose $.36 or 1.3 percent, to $27.36.

Time Warner Inc. rose $.06 or .1 percent, to $49.69.

Viacom Inc. rose $.95 or 1.6 percent, to $59.71.
