A man from Adelaide's northern suburbs has been arrested after more than a quarter of a million dollars and about 10 kilograms of cannabis were uncovered at a house.

Police searched the Salisbury East property last night and say the cannabis was dried and packaged ready for sale.

They also found 47 ecstasy tablets and $300,000 in cash.

A 47-year-old man has been charged and was refused bail.
