NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top education companies were down at the close of trading:
Apollo Group fell $.53 or 2.4 percent, to $21.50.
Career Education Corp. fell $.25 or 6.6 percent, to $3.51.
DeVry fell $.43 or 1.7 percent, to $24.82.
Strayer Education Inc. fell $3.17 or 5.2 percent, to $57.69.
