A 31-year-old man will face court today after he was arrested overnight with the aid of the police canine unit.

Officers were called to a property on Robert Street, Como, around 10:30 pm to respond to reports of an intruder.

A man was seen jumping fences in the area and a police dog was used to track the man to shed nearby.

The offender refused to exit the shed until the dog, named Enzo, was sent in to force him out.

The man was charged with aggravated burglary, trespassing and stealing, and will face the Perth Magistrates Court today.
