A man stabbed in the back in the Shoalhaven on the south coast of NSW is fighting for his life.
Police are appealing for information after the 29-year-old was stabbed at Sussex Inlet on Sunday.
Officers were called to a home in Banksia Street about 6.30pm, discovering the man with numerous stab wounds.
The man was airlifted to St George Hospital for treatment, where he is in intensive care.
He has two stab wounds to his back, three to his left hand and minor lacerations to his head, ear and forearm.
Police have interviewed several people over the matter, which allegedly occurred when an argument at the house spilled on to the street.
