Fire bans will continue across NSW on Monday as temperatures continue to soar.
The NSW Rural Fire Service has established total fire bans in the Northern and Southern Riverina districts, which starts midnight on Sunday ending midnight on Monday.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Sydney's heatwave will peak on Tuesday, when the mercury is expected to hit 43C.
On Monday the maximum is set to reach a much milder 27C.
Conditions are forecast to ease on Wednesday, with a maximum of 25C expected.
