Johnson & Johnson rose $.79 or 1.1 percent, to $71.53.
Eli Lilly & Co. rose $1.75 or 3.5 percent, to $51.47.
Merck fell $.41 or 1.0 percent, to $41.92.
Pfizer rose $.02 or .1 percent, to $25.87.
