2. SOUNDBITE (English) Jack Savoretti, recording artist - on how he feels about his latest album:

"It was a winding road to get to make this record and it was something that I really wanted to do, I wasn't about to do it, I was about to stop music completely. I had put out two albums, seen the good and the bad and the ugly of the industry and I just thought, 'okay, maybe it's time for something else.' And this boatload of songs struck me and it was like 'okay I need to make another album, and I need to find a way to do it.'"

4. SOUNDBITE (English) Jack Savoretti, recording artist - on his new single 'Changes':

"It explains the reason for all of the songs. It is kind of the father of all of the songs on the album. That song is the reason why every other song is on the album and it kind of explains why I wrote every other song, what was going on and what I was going through. Essentially at the end of the day it is just changes and I think it is something that everybody can relate to because we're all going through changes, as cliche as that is."

6. SOUNDBITE (English) Jack Savoretti, recording artist - on recording a duet with actress Sienna Miller:

"I spent a bit of time in Nashville and they have this amazing was of writing these murder ballads and they write about killing their wives or the wife stabbing their husband and it sound like pretty heavy stuff but they are amazing love songs. The whole point is there is that such fine line between love and hate, loving somebody and loving somebody to death. To the point where you go nuts. So that was a song like that, I wanted that to come across in "Guy and Girl." And I had just met Sienna, I had heard her singing at The Groucho Club, one night completely acapella, she did Nancy Sinatra, and next day we were hanging out and I had this duet and I said 'do you want to do it,' and she literally came to the studio the next day."
