NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top education companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Apollo Group rose $.26 or 1.2 percent, to $21.18.
Career Education Corp. fell $.02 or .7 percent, to $3.49.
DeVry rose $.09 or .4 percent, to $23.82.
Strayer Education Inc. rose $.78 or 1.4 percent, to $56.95.
