NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top biotechnology companies were up at the close of trading:
Amgen Inc. rose $2.95 or 3.4 percent, to $89.15.
Biogen Idec rose $3.63 or 2.5 percent, to $150.00.
Celgene Corp. rose $2.63 or 3.4 percent, to $81.10.
Gilead Sciences Inc. rose $1.61 or 2.2 percent, to $75.06.
