Johnson & Johnson rose $.55 or .8 percent, to $70.65.
Medtronic rose $.58 or 1.4 percent, to $41.60.
St. Jude Medical Inc. rose $.62 or 1.7 percent, to $36.76.
Stryker rose $.84 or 1.5 percent, to $55.66.
Zimmer Holdings Inc. rose $1.11 or 1.7 percent, to $67.77.
