NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top biotechnology companies were up at the close of trading:
Amgen Inc. rose $.96 or 1.1 percent, to $86.20.
Biogen Idec rose $.32 or .2 percent, to $146.37.
Celgene Corp. rose $.74 or 1.0 percent, to $78.47.
Gilead Sciences Inc. rose $1.07 or 1.5 percent, to $73.45.
