Man charged with murder of two-year-old
A 22-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a two-year-old boy in Perth overnight.
Wayne Murray Narkle appeared in the Perth Magistrates Court and was not required to enter a plea.
He has been remanded to reappear in court on January 30.
Narkle was arrested after police were called to Swan District Hospital about 10:45pm (AWST) yesterday regarding the death of a child.
Inquiries took to them to a unit on Station Street in Bassendean which is being examined by forensic officers.
Major Crime detectives and forensic officers are still at the scene.
