NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top education companies were mixed at the close of trading:
Apollo Group rose $.09 or .4 percent, to $20.46.
Career Education Corp. rose $.06 or 1.8 percent, to $3.31.
DeVry rose $.06 or .3 percent, to $23.42.
Strayer Education Inc. fell $1.58 or 2.8 percent, to $55.32.
