A teenager who left her southwest NSW home more than a week before Christmas has not contacted relatives since, police say.

Paris Burrill, 16, left her house in Narrandera some time during the night of Friday December 14.

Family members told police they haven't heard from the schoolgirl since and are concerned for her welfare.

It is believed Paris took some personal belongings with her and may have made it to Cootamundra or Wagga Wagga.

But she could still be in the Narrandera area, police say.

The teen is described as being of caucasian appearance, 165cm to 175cm tall, with a thin build and brown hair.

Anyone who knows of her location is urged to contact Griffith Police Station or Crime Stoppers.
