Police and the FBI sealed off a condominium in Stamford in the U. S. state of Connecticut on Friday.

Bomb squad vehicles raced to the scene.

It's believed to be the home of the woman at the heart of a deadly police chase through downtown DC one day earlier.

The woman -- who has not been identified -- rammed her car at security gates at the White House and police opened fire as she sped off towards Capitol Hill.

She was shot dead and two officers were wounded. A one year old child was taken unharmed from the car by police.

Later the FBI obtained a search warrent at this Stamford address in connection with the investigation.
