Labor backbencher Brenton Best is continuing his campaign against the Greens, this time with an online petition.

Brenton Best's petition was launched on Monday and calls for "No deals to give minority Greens control of Tasmania.''

Mr Best says Tasmania has a bright future if the Greens are left out of the equation.

It is the latest salvo fired by Mr Best in his battle with his party's partner in state Government.

He has repeatedly declared the minority government a failure.

In May he voted no-confidence in Greens leader Nick McKim, and in September threatened to sit on the cross-benches if state Labor governs with the Greens again.

The petition has been signed by 29 people.
