Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed says two or three Americans and one British person were among the militants who attacked the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi.

Mohamed made the comments during an interview with PBS Newshour.

WARNER ASKING "So both British and American citizens were among the perpetrators?"

(SOUNDBITE) (English) KENYAN FOREIGN MINISTER AMINA MOHAMED SAYING:

"Yes, from the information that we have, 2 or 3 Americans and I think so far I have heard of one Brit... a woman, woman, and I think she has done this many times before."

WARNER ASKING "And the Americans?"

(SOUNDBITE) (English) KENYAN FOREIGN MINISTER AMINA MOHAMED SAYING:

"The Americans, from the information that we have are young men. About between 18 and 19, of Somali origin or Arab origin, but that you know, lived in the U.S. in Minnesota and one other place. So basically, look, I think that just goes to underline the global nature of the war that we're fighting."

Kenyan security forces said Tuesday all hostages have been freed, and that police were doing a final sweep of the shops.

At least 62 died in the crisis- the fate of the people listed as missing is unclear.
