A man has been found guilty by a Supreme Court jury of murdering Adelaide man Edward Camilleri with a hammer at Two Wells on the city's northern outskirts, two years ago.

After about 10 hours of deliberation, the jury found Domenico Antonio Papalia, 30, guilty of the charge.

The body of Mr Camilleri, 50, was found in a shallow grave at Two Wells in August 2011, four months after he as last seen alive.

During the three-week trial, Papalia admitted he was present during the killing but claimed it was done by two other men while he watched.

The court heard there had been drug-taking before the killing.

Another man Steven Zenuni, 21, recently was jailed for at least 10 years after admitting his part in the murder.
