A man is in hospital with multiple stab wounds after fighting with a neighbour in a unit complex in western Sydney.
Police were called to the South Granville property at about 4.30am on Saturday following reports of an altercation between two male residents, aged 21 and 52.
The younger man allegedly stabbed the other man repeatedly during the fight.
The older man sustained eight stab wounds and was taken to Westmead Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Police believe both men live in separate apartments in the complex.
The 21-year-old has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm to a person with intent.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
