The world's shortest woman visits one of the tallest buildings in the United States.

Jyoti Amge is just 24.7 inches high, that's around 60 cm's.

The Indian teenager was at New York's Empire State Building to promote the 2014 edition of Guinness World Records.

SOUNDBITE: Jyoti Amge, world's shortest living woman, saying (Hindi):

"I like it very much. Being in the Guinness World Records I get to visit different places like London, Italy, New York and everywhere."

According to Guinness World Records, Amge is shorter than the average 2-year-old and even smaller than a New York fire hydrant.

Her fame has landed her roles in two Bollywood movies, but she now has her sights set on Tinseltown.

"I'm studying right now. Earlier I wanted to be in Bollywood but I didn't get too many offers, so now I'm thinking of going to Hollywood."
