After 33 days of the campaign, voters finally get a chance to have their official say in who will run the country for the next three years.

Polls throughout the campaign and today suggest Tony Abbott will lead the Coalition to a comfortable victory, ending Labor's tumultuous six years in power.

Mr Abbott and Prime Minister Kevin Rudd have returned to their electorates to cast their votes today.
