A 16-year-old boy has been charged over the stabbing of a 14-year-old boy during a fight inside a Brisbane classroom.
The 16-year-old has been charged with unlawful wounding and intent to cause grievous bodily harm, plus two further counts of common assault. He will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
The 14-year-old boy is in Princess Alexandra Hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries to his torso.
Police investigations are continuing.
Police were called to a learning centre next to a school in Poinsettia Street, Inala following an altercation between two boys around 11.30am on Wednesday.
