Five of six teenagers accused of murdering a 28-year-old man at Mandurah in March have pleaded not guilty.
The boys, aged 14 and 15, appeared in the Perth Children's Court today via video link from the detention centre where they have been held since their arrest.
They are alleged to have murdered Tauri Litchfield in a carpark where it is alleged he was fatally bashed.
The lawyers for the five boys who entered pleas all elected to have the matter heard in the Children's Court instead of the Supreme Court where the case would be decided by a jury.
A trial date was set for February next year.
The sixth boy is yet to plead to the charge.
