Firefighters have extinguished a blaze at a newsagency and delicatessen in East Victoria Park.
The blaze started in the same block of shops where a fire destroyed the Charcoal Kebab shop two weeks ago.
Damage to that business was estimated at more than $1-million.
Fire and Emergency Services Incident controller Gerard Walker says the fire started early this morning.
"About 4:00 am we got a call to a fire in a newsagency," Mr Walker said.
"Crews responded and found that the fire was going well and spreading to the other property which was a delicatessen-type set-up.
"They contained the fire to both those shops and stopped any further spread of fire."
