CARDIFF, Wales (AP) — Argentina prop Juan Figallo has been suspended for three weeks for striking France captain Pascal Pape in their test in Lille last weekend.

Figallo was cited after France won 39-22, and will miss Argentina's last tour match against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday.

IRB-appointed judicial officer Roger Morris said after Wednesday's hearing that Figallo's citing was changed from head-butting to charging into a maul or ruck.

Figallo, the Pumas' starting loosehead since the Rugby World Cup, faced a five-week ban but had it reduced by two weeks for an exemplary disciplinary record. He's banned to Dec. 9.
