She starred in over one hundred movies and was known for appearing in the films "Easy Rider," and "Nashville."

Black also won an Oscar and a Golden Globe award for her performance in "Five Easy Pieces."

A man charged with trying to extort money from Paula Deen will be in court Friday.

Thomas George Paculis, who pleaded not guilty during his last hearing in LA, will appear before a federal judge.

Authorities say he contacted Deen's attorney threatening to reveal damaging statements by the former Food Network star, unless she paid him two-hundred-thousand-dollars.

Joy Behar is bowing out of The View on Friday.

One of the last remaining hosts of the ABC daytime talk show makes her exit after its 16 years on air.

The comic says she wants to try different things without being tied to a daily show.
