STORYLINE:

ATLANTA (AP) _ A judge in Atlanta has scheduled an emergency custody hearing requested by the ex-wife of R&B singer Usher. The request was filed yesterday, a day after the couple's son nearly drowned in a pool at Usher's Atlanta home. Police have said the five-year-old fell to the bottom of the pool and became stuck in the drain. A contractor pulled the boy from the pool and performed CPR. A court filing says the boy was hospitalized in intensive care. He's one of two sons of Usher and Tameka Raymond.
