VOICE-OVER SCRIPT:

TRACK-1

THE EGYPTIAN MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD IS CALLING FOR AN UPRISING TO TAKE BACK POWER.

THE CALL COMES ONE DAY AFTER EGYPTIAN SECURITY FORCES KILLED 50 SUPPORTERS OF THE COUNTRY'S OUSTED PRESIDENT, MOHAMMED MORSI.

ISLAMIC PROTESTERS SAY TROOPS OPENED FIRE ON THEM, UNPROVOKED, JUST AS THEY WERE FINISHING EARLY-MORNING PRAYERS.

THE MILITARY SAYS THE PROTESTERS ACTUALLY BEGAN THE VIOLENCE, FIRING GUNS AND THROWING MOLOTOV COCKTAILS FROM ROOFTOPS.

THEY RELEASED VIDEO TO BACK THIS UP, BUT PROTESTERS SAY THE VIDEO IS FROM MORE THAN A YEAR AGO.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Gehad el-Haddad, a Muslim brotherhood spokesman:

"The army's press conference is nothing more than fiction and lies. Anyone who participated in revolutionary groups or movements on the ground in Egypt will quickly recognise the videos that were shown at the army conference, as the videos from Abbassia incidents, a year and half ago, when the army clashed with a number of political revolutionary groups on the ground."

TRACK-2

THE MILITARY-BACKED INTERIM PRESIDENT ORDERED A JUDICIAL REVIEW OF THE INCIDENT.
