Promising Australian Nick Kyrgios has signed off from junior tennis by teaming up with compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis to win the boys doubles title at Wimbledon.

The duo, who played each other in the Australian Open boys singles final in January, defeated Enzo Couacaud and Stefano Napolitano 6-2 6-3 in Sunday's final.

It was world No.1 junior Kyrgios' second straight title in the event after he teamed up with compatriot Andrew Harris to win last year.

Kyrgios lost in the third round of the boys singles event at Wimbledon and failed to earn a wildcard for the men's draw, despite beating Czech Radek Stepanek in his first senior grand slam match at the French Open lost month.

The 18-year-old will now focus solely on senior events and will attempt to qualify for the US Open, starting in late August.
