ECUADOR'S FOREIGN MINISTER SAYS SNOWDEN HAS APPLIED FOR POLITICAL ASYLUM IN THE SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRY. IN A CONFERENCE CALL MONDAY, WIKILEAKS FOUNDER JULIAN ASSANGE SAID SNOWDEN HAS ALSO APPLIED FOR ASYLUM IN ICELAND. TRAVELING IN INDIA, SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY WARNED COUNTRIES ABOUT TAKING in SNOWDEN.
