Police say a man who crashed a four-wheel-drive while five times over the legal alcohol limit near Busselton had his seven-year-old daughter in the vehicle.

Other drivers reported the white Landcruiser was being driven in an erratic manner shortly before it crashed on Bussell Highway late yesterday afternoon.

The 42-year-old man was taken to hospital and breath-tested.

Police say he will be charged by summons with drunk driving.

His daughter was not injured.

Police have also charged a 40-year-old truck driver who crashed in Armadale late last night with the same offence.

It is alleged the driver was four times over the legal limit when he crashed into bollards on Champion Drive in Champions Lake.
