SOT with America's Cup Management CEO Iain Murray regarding the death of Andrew Simpson and break up of catamaran Artemis.

STORYLINE:

America's Cup Management CEO Iain Murray told a news conference that the sailboat Artemis and Oracle were practicing maneuvers in San Francisco Bay Wednesday afternoon.

The crew of Artemis was practicing a maneuver that allows the boat to change direction while changing the setting of the main sail.

During this tricky maneuver, the boat capsized and apparently broke into pieces.

Olympic gold medal winner Andrew Simpson was apparently trapped underwater in an unseen area of the debris.

Attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
