NYON, Switzerland (AP) — UEFA has given potential bidders details about staging matches at the 13-host 2020 European Championship.

UEFA says two slots are reserved for countries offering stadiums as small as 33,000-seat capacity. The stadium would then hold 30,000 spectators once UEFA standards for accommodating media, hospitality and security are allowed.

UEFA says member associations must declare interest by Sept. 12. Official bid cities are being announced on Sept. 20.

UEFA's executive committee will choose 13 host cities in September 2014.

The single stadium hosting the final and both semifinals must have "a minimum 70,000 gross seating capacity."

Four 60,000-plus stadiums will each host a quarterfinal and three group-stage matches.

The two smallest stadiums plus six venues with at least 50,000 capacity will host three group matches and one second-round match.
