SONGSHAN, Taiwan (AP) — Chinese players Chen Long and Du Pengyu will meet in the men's final of the Asian badminton championships after easy wins on Saturday.

Top-seeded Chen disposed of No. 4 Chong Wei Feng of Hong Kong 21-17, 21-15 in the semifinals. The second-seeded Du was leading 21-16, 11-6 when compatriot Wang Zhengmang pulled out due to an undisclosed injury.

The women's final will also be an all-Chinese affair with Olympic champion and top-seeded Li Xuerei playing No. 2 Wang Yihan.

Li beat Japan's Sayaka Takahashi 21-18, 18-21, 21-12 in a hard-fought semifinal match, while Wang was comfortable in beating Eriko Hirose of Japan 21-12, 21-6.
