Wales will revert to playing Six Nations matches on a Friday night over the next two seasons.

The defending champions will host France at the Millennium Stadium on a Friday to kick off the third round next season. Then in 2015, the Welsh will take on England in Cardiff on a Friday in the opening match.

The Six Nations committee began experimenting with Friday night matches in 2009 but it led to criticism that fans were being overlooked in the desire to attract larger television audiences. Many supporters also complained about travel chaos.

Wales starts the defense of its title against Italy next year and finishes at home to Scotland.
