A man armed with a hammer and another with a large knife may have targeted the wrong home in an Adelaide robbery.
Police say the men demanded cash and drugs after smashing the front door to gain entry to the home at about 12.50 am (CDT) on Thursday.
Waking the two occupants, a 23-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man, they yelled out the name of another man whom the victims had never heard of.
The residents gave the men money and personal property and were not injured.
Police say it appears the victims were not the intended target and that the suspects had broken into the wrong residence.
