Five police dogs have bailed up seven suspects in the course of a night in Perth.

In the first of four incidents, police dog Gypsy tracked down three people after a stolen car chase at Noranda, finding a 24-year-old man hiding in a car port.

Police dog Ego joined the hunt and found the remaining two suspects, a man and a woman, both 22, hiding in dense bushland.

All three were charged with car theft, while the 24-year-old man also faces several other charges.

At Bassendean, police dog Freddie stopped offenders who had abandoned a stolen vehicle and hid in the grounds of a home.

At Beresford, after a pursuit, police dog Bear found a 15-year-old boy hiding in the front yard of a home.

And at Jandakot, police dog Vector chased a 25-year-old man through bushland for more than 1km after he threatened a woman with garden shears.
