Print PageDuring an emotion-charged question time, Ms Gillard said the ballot for leader and deputy would be held at 4.30pm and in the meantime, the opposition could "take your best shot."
Opposition leader Tony Abbott asked Ms Gillard if she agreed the government was in "deadlock" and "no long able to discharge it's duty."
The Prime Minister replied that she did not agree and the government was getting on with the business of governing.
