A man has bitten two Queensland police officers who were trying to arrest him, leaving one with a bloody leg.

The officers were arresting the man, 25, at an education facility near Toowoomba on Wednesday night when he started kicking and head butting the windows of the police car.

He allegedly bit one of the officers on the forearm, and the other officer on the lower leg, drawing blood.

The man has been charged with two counts of serious assault, two counts of obstructing police and one count of causing a public nuisance.

He will appear on Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Thursday.
