Police investigate sexually explicit facebook site

WA Police are investigating a site on social media after receiving public complaints about sexually explicit photos of young people being posted online.

Detectives are liaising with Facebook staff to identify who uploaded the images to the site.

They are also trying establish the ages and identities of people in the photos.

Under state law, the maximum penalty for distributing sexually explicit material of someone under 18-years-old is 10 years jail.
