Search in NSW for missing man resumes

The search for a man missing off Sydney's northern beaches is resuming but weather and sea conditions will determine whether divers can be used.

The 23-year-old was swept out to sea at North Curl Curl beach at around 1.15pm (AEDT) on Saturday.

The search on Sunday had to be scaled back because of poor weather conditions.

A police spokeswoman told AAP on Monday that boats would be out again at 8am but any decision on whether to use divers would depend on weather and sea conditions.
