A 29-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he was allegedly glassed in a Gladstone pub.

A man has suffered cuts to his face after being glassed in a pub in central Queensland.

Police say two men got into an argument in a Goondoon St pub in Gladstone about 9.45pm (AEST) on Saturday when one was hit in the face with a glass.

The man, 29, was taken to Gladstone Hospital with cuts to his face.

The other, 44, was charged with unlawful wounding and will appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court on April 16.
