Three men have been charged over an alleged kidnapping plot that has been linked to Melbourne's outlaw bikie scene.

The men were arrested by the Special Operations Group in Greensborough, in Melbourne's north-east, on Friday night.

Police have confirmed the men are associated with a bikie gang.

They faced an out-of-sessions court hearing overnight.

All three have been charged with conspiracy to kidnap and intentionally causing serious injury.

One of the men is also facing numerous counts of drug trafficking.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday.
