Drenching rain has fallen across parts of regional South Australia, including on Eyre Peninsula.
Thunderstorms have passed over the region and brought falls of up to 62 millimetres.
But other areas have had virtually no rain.
Rick Fisher from the supermarket at Lock said people in the town were now cleaning up after flash flooding.
"We copped I think about 34-35mm in about 15 to 20 minutes and overall when we got up this morning the rain gauge had 44mm in it, so the streets were all pretty flooded," he said.
"There was debris going pretty well everywhere."
Some areas have seen their first significant rain since last winter.
