Officers were called to a Southport caravan park shortly after midnight (AEST) and found the injured man lying near a toilet block.
Police say the man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
Meanwhile in separate incident, police are investigating an attempted abduction.
A 22-year-old woman has told them a man tried to pull her into a white van at Molendinar about 6:00pm last night.
She told them there was a struggle before she broke free.
Police searched the area shortly afterwards but did not find the van or anyone.
