Victoria's biggest trade mission to the Middle East will depart on Friday.
More than 250 business delegates will join the trade mission, led by Innovation Minister Louise Asher.
They will visit the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia in a bid to boost Victoria's exports in areas including food, agribusiness and education.
Ms Asher, who launched the mission strategy on Tuesday, said the area was wealthy and relied on imports, presenting a lot of opportunities for Victoria to boost its business.
"We're expecting a significant outcome because all of the government's previous missions have generated a significant economic outcome," she told reporters.
The mission will take place from February 22 to March 3.
