A man is accused of the stabbing murder of a 24-year-old man in outback NSW.
Police say they were called to a property on Hood Street in the far-west NSW town of Wilcannia about 1.30am (AEDT) on Tuesday.
There they found a man with a stab wound to his chest lying on the front lawn.
The 24-year-old man died in hospital a short time later.
About 5pm on Tuesday a 36-year-old Wilcannia man turned himself in at the local police station.
He was taken to Broken Hill where he was charged with murder.
The man was refused bail to appear in Broken Hill Local Court on Wednesday.
