Rangers cancelled last night's scheduled tour because of the heavy rain and high tides.
The tours had been closed more than three weeks since the extreme weather destroyed up to 59 per cent of turtle nests.
Ranger in charge Cathy Gatlee says safety is the priority.
"We've had a lot of debris on the beach after the flood - we have spent the last couple of weeks just making the beach safe again," she said.
"Just removing rubbish and tree debris and working that way to make it safe for hatchlings and for nesting turtles, as well as for any people coming down onto the beach."
