Seven's MKR tops two million

My Kitchen Rules (MKR) is giving the Seven Network a huge headstart in the ratings war after another two-million-plus audience on Monday night.

MKR won the ratings when 2.118 million viewers watched the elimination of Team WA, mother and daughter Lisa and Candice Clarke.

Seven's reality cooking series has won the ratings every time it has aired, regularly surpassing two million viewers.

It finished well ahead of Nine News (1.342 million) and Seven News (1.304 million) on Monday.

Seven's US drama Revenge pulled an average of 1.295 million viewers to be fourth, while The Big Bang Theory (1.140 million) was fifth.

Today Tonight won the current affairs battle, attracting 1.102 million viewers to finish sixth.

A Current Affair was eighth with 1.067 million viewers.

The Block All Stars held up well in the wake of MKR to be seventh with 1.080 million while ABC News (1.028 million) and Home And Away (977,000) were ninth and 10th respectively.

Network Ten has got off to a horror start in the official ratings season.

On Monday more viewers tuned into watch MKR than watch Ten's three main offerings - The Project (471,000), MasterChef: The Professionals (528,000) and Can Of Worms (392,000) did not make the Top 20.
